It's a no go

Well got a response from the new school I was suppose to go to.. They said there is no more room for exchange students even though two of their exchange students are switching schools.

Well this sucks....

The school problem

I've been at this school for longer than a month and I've made one friend... So the thought of changing schools to some other school where I know people. The school also offers classes in English so hopefully AFS approves my transfer. 

The pros/cons of this decision: 

              Pros:                                         

• New school                                
• New people
• People I already know
• New options

             Cons:

• The new kid again
• Get used to new things
• Will get lost in the school, all over again
• New teachers
• Tougher school
• Farther walk to school..

Maybe a new start will be a good thing...

Fireworks in Turku

Not what we thought

So we thought we were going to a circus kind of thing but it ended up being a awkward ascorbates show that included a lot of chairs..... It was interesting but I was so confused.

Exam week

So exam week starts this week in Turku and thank goodness I'm an exchange student. Also it was so smart of me to get all my classes done before I got here because these exams would be impossible for me.

My host sister thought it was funny that I ate my oreos with fork so she took a picture of me...

My parents are the best!

My parents are seriously the best. All of my favorite food (mostly candy) with some american treats like the twinkie!

So far away

Today I got news that my brother was in accident at work and had got 2nd-3 degree burns. 

My fear of me being so far away is something bad happening one my loved ones. So glad he is okay and hope he has a fast recovery!

Having this man let me move across the global and is willing to wait for me makes the luckiest girl in the world. So he'll always be my man crush monday <3

Went for dinner ( yes, I mean we ate at Hesburger)  with other exchange students and some returnees. Then went for a walk to see the city at night.
